Neighbours with Long Teeth

Welcome to the White Horse Theatre Online Project!

White Horse Theatre is Europe’s largest educational touring theatre, with teams of professional actors – all native speakers of English – performing English-language plays to over 500.000 pupils per year.

Because of corona we are not able to visit schools as usual. But we have not disappeared! We are offering schools the opportunity to experience the White Horse Theatre online project:

Teachers are given a video clip of a scene from one of White Horse Theatre’s plays – Neighbours with Long Teeth –, which is aimed at Mittelstufe pupils.

Together with the video, teachers receive a wide selection of educational material including:

  • the video
  • a transcript of the scene (with optional German translations)
  • vocabulary lists and interactive vocabulary tests
  • interactive grammar exercises
  • multiple-choice comprehension questions
  • suggestions for drama activities
  • discussion topics based on the scene to deepen pupils‘ understanding of the dramatic situation
  • writing tasks
  • background discussion material
